Greetings UkipScot, I may be hundreds of miles away from Ayr but I salute you. Good luck as PPC.

Go for it Bryan!
There is a lot of support for UKIP in your area.
Biggest challenge will be the SNP I think?

If you look at the figures, we rank above the SSP (Scottish Scoialist Party - ie Unreconstructed Communists) and are chasing the tails of the LibDems. Unless we have vastly underestimated our level of support the intention is to overtake them for 4th place.

Ayr was a Tory seat for years until The Great Wipeout of `97 when it went to Labour. The Tories took the last European Election & Scottish Parliament Election seats, so Labour`s support cannot be guaranteed.

Given recent results the seat looks like this:
1st Labour, 2nd Tory, 3rd SNP, 4th-LibDem, 5th-UKIP

Come May 6th that will change.
