Default Hoping for something fresh in British Politics

I have just registered with this site and ought to say hello,
I am 38 years old and reside right on the Cambridgeshire/Norfolk border. Myself and my wife have been here for about 5 years having moved up from near Watford.

I have been taking an increased interest in politics for a few years now and have even started planning to get INTO phpbb_it properly at local level, but I can't just yet. originally I was unsure where my politics lay (I have voted LDem, UKIP and Green before, so a nice spread really). However as I became more interested I thought I ought to find out for myself what I actually was.
I simply wrote down a whole series of headings (Economy, crime, defence, Europe, democracy etc) and what my totally honest views were.
Then trawled a few political sites reading manifesto's.

UKIP's seemed to be the closest, probably by about 90%, so here I am.

I hope people won't mind me throwing my tuppence INTO phpbb_various discussions, I shall always use logic and reason and if the counter argument out performs my opinions then I am not dogmatic to stick to them come what may. I know that I don't know everything and won't pretend that I do.

Best described as a Euro sceptic with quite a soft focus.

So hello everybody, look forward to chatting.

Ralph.....

Welcome to the forum. I joined UKIP the same way - I went through the manifestos one by one.

I echo the above comments. Level headed reasoning and arguments should always welcomed. Welcome to the resistance.
