bobby's boy-the facts
Hi i'm a new member an I'm called bobby's boy. Some of the things I'm in favour of is freedom of speech, local government, family tradition. Some of the things I don't like is hunting, removal of choice, european interference. I have been a parish councillor for many years and I am a former mayor of where I live. Being popular doesn't interest me, getting the best job done for the benefit of us all is. I joined the UKIP because of Labour's european crawling and because I believed at that time everyone was welcome. I had attended a meeting some years ago and frankly was shocked with the right wing tory extremists who were in attendance. What convinced me that things had changed was the joining of Robert Kilroy-Silk a former Labour MP to the party. When the fall outs began I was shocked because no matter which party it is when they start to fall out the only winners are the opposition. As a neutral I believe RKS has been treated badly, the whole situation could and should have been handled in house, not in the media. The best way to resolve this in my humble opinion is to hold a leadership contest, one member one vote. As Mr. Knapman is confident of his support then I can't see what the problem is. Surely this is the only way to clear the decks and start again. With a General Election only a few weeks away or at the most a few months, we need to present a united front to the electors. Any thing less will give the Lib-Dems the stick they need to beat you with again and again, the libs are very good at this! In a perfect world we would all have what we want, but this is not a perfect world for any of us. You think you've got problems, the candidate for UKIP where I live is a former Tory MP and is in favour of fox hunting, now this is something I have to come to terms with, the leadership is something we all have to come to terms with. If not I would urge RKS to form his own party ASAP. I'll be there, he's got my number.
