Default Man of Mendip!

Hello

Amazed I've not previously registered, congratulations to PPC, Anthony Butcher, having ben selected, for Woodspring, the incumbent, Tory Co-chairman, Liam Fox MP! Congratulation to Steve Reed, PPC, Wells, of which I chaired, three excellent candidates.

I'm an 'independent' member of Wells City Council (www.wells.gov.uk) sometime 611th mayor. Contested EU Elections in 1989 as 'independent' & 1994 as New Britain, along with Mike Nattrass MEP!

I fervently believe, an historic window, in the nations affairs, not to be squandered; I spent a week at Hartlepool, therein a baptism, moreso my great fortune, to meet, UKIP, Councillor, Frank Leeming, Derby Unitary Council, whereat he holds the balance of power. An opportunity arising within Woodspring, in vacancy to North Somerset Unitary Authority, by-election in new year, possible candidate, all the hands, to the deck, for an early victory, to set the scene for General Election, I guess in May.

It really behoves those constituencies, who've not posted to web-site, to get there acts together, in selections, time nor tide, awaits any of us, in the Battle for Britain 2005!

Yours

GEL

The Guardian is this some kind of Joke, a left-wing rag and pro-Europe?

I agree in general on the Guardian, but are you saying that they made up the 15 million debt figure?

Gardians not that bad (they give student discounts for starts!)
Left wing maybe and international though what's so bad with that?

It's better to know the balanced fact and make your own mind rather then trusting in nothing but your ignorance!

Yeah most papers give a student discount including the Telegraph a fine paper.

The Guardian isnt balanced fact - as you say yourself its left-wing and one reason why the left-wing is bad is because its the left who are the most vociferous supporters of the EU!

I have no idea about the 15 million figure though i will endevour to find out from somewhere other than the biggest anti-Tory paper around .

Mystic (cool name by the way!)

- not too sure I believe in the whole left-right political theory.... I'm anti fox hunting, anti-iraq occupation, pro trade, pro-euro for europe but think we're too different economically and socially to join - what does that make me?

Guardian on the other hand has sometimes been pro-eu true, but anti too... as I said I'd rather get the facts from a more balanced source then make up my own mind.

Telegraph is an good paper; didnt like Conrad much and a little too pro- israel for me but glad it's been sold.

Independant is a very good paper..... as I said Times gets left on the train seat untouched!
