Default Good day!

I was hoping i could get some feed back for some research i am currently doing for my University....if anyone is willing to answer some questions on the history of UKIP please dont be shy!

heres one for starters

What factors do you attribute to the relativly accelerated success of the UKIP party in domestic and inparticular European politics?

Thanks
Dean

you may have a point though, obviously some people are going to say that kilroy has thrust the party INTO phpbb_the media spotlight, more people will know who kilroy silk is than Roger Knapman!

I Attribute the sucess of UKIP to the BNP doing all the donkeywork, rallying up the country making comprimises to their policy and suffering the abuse on the streets and making it possible to put on a suit and preach patriotisim.
The same way that the NF patriotisim assisted Mrs. Thatcher in '79.
The UKIP have done a great job but they need to remember who did all the spade work

Sorry Albion but the BNP are totaly unseen in most areas that UKIP do well in. Our opponents try to cobble us together with the BNP, as they know that mud sticks. Anyone who pays the slightest bit of attention to either party would realise that they are a world apart.

The BNP is a white nationalist party, that is focused clearing people of colour from the U.K. That is their main focus, and all other policies from the BNP are only there to help them achieve that aim. Maybe it is morphing INTO phpbb_something a bit more now, but it will always have the primary goal of focusing on white peoples issues.

UKIP wants to pull us out of the EU, so that we can control our own destiny. Again we are morphing INTO phpbb_something a bit more in that we see many areas of life that are being ruined by successive governments. UKIP are not focused on the colour of a persons skin as being a problem, as we believe this is a utterly stupid position to take.

Hence we don't want anything to do with the BNP. To say the BNP is some sort of cheerleader for UKIP is a joke. The BNP despise us, as we represent real patriots and not just out and out racists.

Agreed Matt. I can understand that some people have issues with "race" but that is completely incompatible with true patriotism. Patriotism is about looking after your country and its citizens.

UKIP wants to provide Britain with a better brighter future, out of the European Union. We are aiming for a free, fair and liberal society, as is the British tradition.

The BNP is a racist party that has done nothing but damage race-relations in this country, and they are an embarrassment to civilised society. I acknowledge that they do represent the views of a minority in this country, and those worries should not be discounted. I just wish that the BNP would offer a more constructive and acceptable solution, rather than promoting racism.

However: "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it."

The Source Of My Aforementioned Announcement Was A Jounalist From The Evening Standard And Was Rlating To Discussins Between Party Managers.
Surely UKIP Knew That Standing Could Well Have Resulted In Labour Winning In GoresBrook.

UKIP couldn't care less for any of the mainstream parties, and due to their racist foundations even less for the BNP.

UKIP will fight every seat it can now, to give the British people a real alternative to the mainstream old boys club, and we could not care less if this means the BNP losing votes.

BNP need to get over the fact that we are doing this for the British people, and wild conspiracy theories about the party only existing to stop the BNP, are delusions of grandeur on the BNP's part.

Our message is clear, if you want a non-racist, freedom and democracy based party, that's primary mission is to first take back control of our country from the EU, then UKIP are for you.

UKIP is all about giving people a real alternative to the old parties, as the only party that believe Britain should decide it's own destiny, but is not only for one particular portion of British society.

Totally agree with mkpdavies, I wish a few others, who write regularly on this forum, had the same outlook. Unfortunately I think we have quite a few fifth columists among us. Why else, with the general election only a few short months away, would certain people want to disrupt the party by continuing to call for a leadership challenge?
