Default Hello

Hello, I am a sales manager from Manchester and am sick to death of corrupt politicians and EU red tape. I also am petrified at the thought of Turkey, with it's 80 million Muslims joining the EU, which will mean they (Turkish Muslims) can and will come here and swamp us. God, it's bad enough with the Pakistani's, please spare us the Turks.

As long as we are allowed out then Turkey is welcome to the EU. Perhaps we can do a deal to let us exchange places, them in and us out!

Yes they definately should be allowed in to the EU - and Yes we should definately leave the EU - then I don't care who is in the EU as long as were not. Countries like Turkey, Romania, Check Republic etc, etc all need to better themselves, and joining the EU will help them to do that, and that is fine. But Britain is and always has been a proud and independant and dominant nation. We do not need to better ourselves through membership of the EU. Winston Churchill thought up the idea of the EU but never envisaged Britain ever needing to be part of it. Let us go back to trading with our natural partners without restriction such as the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, India, and even China. Countries where Briatin has had an influence historically, who used to be our natural trading partners and who will benefit our trade far better than Europe.

If the Turks really want to be in the EU, I say let them join. It makes a lot more sense for them than it does for us. But I'm with torynomore on this one. Once we're out of the EU it's none of our business any more. Incidentally, hex, I hope you haven't come here to badmouth "Pakistanis". Quite a few British Asians are UKIP supporters. They appreciate what we've got in this country, and they don't want to lose it any more than the rest of us do.

Well said Tom... Perhaps Turkey will take the record off Spain for GNP v. Contributions to the EU but whatever happens, once out we can have views but should keep our noses out.
Shame on you Hex if you're saying what I think you're saying- British taxpayer's money should be spent on British taxpayers alright but irrespective of creed or colour.

isn't that rather racist?? after all i thought UKIP just wanted out of the EU not to encourage a pathalogical hate of other people's and religions

and to define what i mean by racist
Quote:
racism is the belief in the superiority of a particular race, leading to pregudice and antagonism to people of other races, especially those in close proxsimity, who may be felt as a threat to ones cultural and racial integraty or economic well being
that was from the oxford English dictionary. i had to learn it by heart a few years ago so it should be almost word perfect for you all.

One anonymous guy posts here once, never to be seen again. He is put down by the regular posters and Libydee labels UKIP racist. Which form of ignorance is worse?

Hex was not a UKIP member, as far as I know. This is an open forum, and we have everyone from Libe Dems to National Front posting here. Unless someone specifically states that they are a UKIP member, you should assume that they are not (and even then you should probably ask for a membership number).

im glad to hear he was not a UKIP member. you will have to forgive that assumption as none of you appeared to be standing up to him/her. having re-read some of the later posts it appeared that some of you did for which i am greatful. my dyslexia unfortunatly means that i often miss things or do not read posts because it would take me far to long (i can spend over 10hours on 1, 20page chapter in a book and still not finnish it)
