So I did answer the question - so stop spinning and read the whole article again.....

Exactly - my comments were aimed at your argument, not at you. Those are my conclusions based upon your many posts, my previous involvement in such debates and your comments about The Bear and tito in this thread. I would also suggest that calling someone a traitor and propaganda agent is of an entirely different order.

Leaving that aside, I agree that bin Laden could be dead although we do not have any hard evidence on that issue (at least, none available to the public). It does not change the nature of the war in my view one way or the other.

Also, as should be clear from the context of what I said, the al-Jazeera interview I mentioned was nothing to do with the link you posted about bin Laden claiming responsibility for 9/11. I was talking about an interview in December 1998, i.e., not long after his February 1998 declaration of war under the auspices of the 'International Islamic Front for Jihad on the Jews and Crusaders'.

But to be fair most of the British public have been brainwashed but they're waking up slowly (those that can keep an open mind and get off their backsides to find out the truth outside the confines of TV news)

The best way to be clear is to post an article that people can relate to and read.
Then people can respond to the article in question without confusion and not guess at the "context" of what you meant or where the claim/quote originated from (if it does exist to begin with).

I know this is straying from the topic, but I noticed the news article on itv1 teletext about Skynet, wasn't skynet mentioned in the Terminator film/series? I suggest remaneing it to avoid paranoia, how about renaming it to UK SHIELD? UK Systems of Homeland Intergrated Emergency Laser Defence network?

Not at all.

Double speak is when the average well meaning person contradicts themselves like for example when you said (can't remember exactly) "Everyone has the right to have children" and "I'm in favour of a one child policy". (or maybe words to that effect - don't quote me)

That kind of thing...
