I wonder if it ever once occurred to people so intent on “liberating” the Zimbabwean people that the majority of them actually like where they stand at present compared to where they were?

That they see what is happening as a stage that their country must pass through in shaking off the last of the colonial exploitation, and see a much better future for themselves aligned with the Chinese than with the west?

Aww, I was hoping we'd go to China first.

Oh well...

This little overcrowded island should mind its own business and let the African people damage each other as they always have, and always will.

The first thing new rulers do is open up Swiss bank accounts to accumulate funds donated by sucker Westerners.

So what does that say about them, if true?

You must really be an out-and-out Marxist if you seriously believe the ordinary Zimbabwean is better off under Mugabe's murderous tyranny than they were under 'colonial exploitation'.

However, the idea of 'invading' is ridiculous. Zimbabwe is none of our business now.

The people of Zimbabwe have to sort out their own problems. It has nothing to do with us and we have our own battles to fight.

They're going to have to, unless we want another Iraq on our hands again...
