Where do you get the idea that I think that the ordinary Zimbabwean is better off under Mugabe's rule? I didn't.

What I wrote was

The key word is THEM.

Nor did I write that the majoirty DID actually like where they stand, simply wondered if anyone had actually considered the possibility.

The population of Zimbabwe comprises of both rural and urban dwellers.

The MAJORITY of the population of Zimbabwe are the Shona tribe, and the majority of them are farmers or farm workers.

Since they see the restoration of their lands as being overall a good thing (they may be right or wrong, I have my own opinion) the majority of support that Mugabe enjoys comes from the rural people, and the majority of the support that the MDC enjoys comes from the major towns and cities.

One thing is for certain.

They should be left alone to sort out their own mess.

Well if that's true they must be nuts.

Not that anybody really knows what people think in Mugabe's police state which has banned the BBC and is currently busy rigging the general election.

Apparently one of Mugabe's biggest buddies is Nicholas van Hoogstraaten!!! .

20,000 of the 40,000 British left dont have British citizenship as they had to give it up when Mugabe banned duel citizenship.

They should have got out years ago. Actually many of them are carpet-baggers who went in after Mugabe took over.

Seems to be the other Blacks who are getting it in the neck at present. The Whites need to keep their heads down and hope that someone shoots him.

Any thought about the British Asians kicked out of Uganda then? After all British Citizenship is not a "white" thing.

For me it makes no difference, for others it might.

Looking at the Sky news,Mugabe won those recounts and the Presedential election.

All we can hope for is that a war will not start and that another recount will take place,soonish.
