Maybe we could put economic pressure on China. Higher tariffs on Chinese imports to limit them may make them see that we are getting sick of their behaviour and that they should work with us, not against us.

They want us to stay out of the Taiwan situation so they should reciprocate or we could all start to send money to Taiwanese independence groups.

You forget it is not our business to mess in the internal affairs of other countries, it just causes more problems than it is worth. Anti-interventionism in this respect is best.

As far as I am concerned we should all be wanting to intervene, just for the simple fact that we are people and don't want other people to suffer.

We know that Zimbabweans are trying to rid themselves of Mugabe and his scum, so we should help them. All we have to do is arrest him and his 'friends' and the people can do the rest. We can help to stabilise the economy and within 12 months we have elections and leave the Country.

As a citizen of a Country where the Government is attempting to destroy your identity, you should be on the side of the Zimbabweans. I would love it if another Country intervened in our favour and forced our traitors to hold a referendum.

I'm on their side but I'm also an isolationist and passionately believe that our armed forces should not be sent half-way around the world to get involved in foreign messes, it will just cause more problems than it solves.

Not neccesarily. If we kicked out Mugabe then held elections the people will decide. We could keep some troops in the British embassy as a safety measure, just in case.

I think by working closely with any new Government we can help the Nation to avoid becoming authoritarian. Having British diplomats there to advise the Zimbabweans on certain issues may be seen as a kind gesture by the citizens.

But the problem is for getting rid of Mugabe whom the West and Mugabe's political opponent see as "scum", the usual approach of the past is to use economic pressure and military pressure, with the aid of M16 and CIA assistance to support other "Scums" to crush Mugabe. And these other "Scum" turned out to be greater threat to Western interest in the global political scene in the future.

Our media and political attention directed by the ruling elites are heavily influenced by the geopolitical interest rather than altruism.

Thats the problem. Our idiot Government supports scum so they can rid themselves of other scum. We should just get rid of the lot of them.

Easier said than done I know, wishful thinking

It seems that Mugabe has lost in the recount for the Zimbabwian Parliament.

We can expect hell to pay for this I think.
