Just letting the Africans deal with this is something people say so we aren't seen as trying to reclaim it as a colony, we should be tinking about this as people. The African politicians are pathetic and no better than Mugabe in my eyes, we should invade because while we're waiting for the African Union to intervene people are being attacked and killed.

So in order to prevent people from being attacked and killed, you would invade and in the process no doubt attack and kill people...

Killing those who are involved in torturing/murdering innocent people would mean that the rest of the Country would have nothing to fear from the scum. If they are not killed then they would be arrested and imprisoned.

People are being attacked in China, Cuba, remember the recent problems in keyna, the elections in Nigeria were a farce.

I never said anything about regimes I don't like, I said on a regime that tortures people on a daily basis.

It's funny how those with no backbone always try to argue against something that is right. Just like a LibDem!!

As a human being, I hate the thought of people being hurt, especially when they have done nothing wrong. If a Government is involved in human rights abuses then it should not be in the position it's in. I don't believe the Yanks torture innocent people on a daily basis, they torture people who are involved in terrorism - perhaps not directly attacking but are close to terrorists. When the IRA were bombing us, I would've loved it if our soldiers tortured the terrorists to show them that we will fight fire with fire. They tortured our soldiers yet we had to show restraint.

Zimbabweans just want to have a free Nation. The latest election was proof of that, Zimbabweans believed the World would protect them so they voted for freedom and they still got Mugabe yet we didn't help them. If we had intervened then perhaps Mugabe would've stepped down as he'd know he hasn't a choice and if he stepped down it'll look like his choice, he'd save face in front of the World, and his citizens.

So, rather than put **** like "America uses torture on its opponents are you proposing war there as well?" on here, think about the innocent people in these Countries and if you would like other Countries to help you if you were in their position. I certainly would.

True - I made this point in a posting to this forum a couple of weeks ago.

The EU could put pressure on China to back attempts at the United Nations to get the tyrant Mugabe out - but it (the EU) has not done so. Even though communist China is heavily reliant on trade with the nations of the EU.

The EU and communist China are both anti-democratic.
