The guy talking to Lou obviously made alot of money from people wanting to hunt for fun, so he didn't have a problem with it and anyway he said that in killing an animal he gets money which he uses to buy more of that "on the brink" species which he and people like him manage making sure it doesn't become extinct-kinda solving the problem mankind created.

Personally I don't think it's neccessary to hunt and kill anything unless your survival depends on it, what is the point of doing it for fun? Isn't that just a pointless ego-trip of the planets apex predator who takes and takes?

I agree with you, Tanny. It isn't a pleasant prospect thinking that you need to shoot a lion so something else can live. I often feel that is an excuse. And the cold blooded nature of trophy hunters makes this sound all the more hollow. At least it does to me.

I cannot be trapped. I will walk out of all traps and pluck crossbow bolts out of my flesh like toothpicks. My name is Nerthus and I am eternal.
