Another good reason for Britain to have nukes

The US military offers to deploy ABMs in Poland and a radar in Bohemia to protect Europe and America against Iranian and Korean ballistic missiles (NK is a nuclear power; its first warhead was tested 2006).

Because these two countries are former Soviet turfs, the Russians have repeatedly threatened not just to aim their BMs at these countries, but even to nuke them. Yes, the Russians plan to nuke my country. Why? Because they want to reconquer it. The American missile shield doesn't threaten them. They're not against ABMs per se - only ABMs deployed in former Soviet turfs.

That's yet another reason for Britain to have nukes. The US military is present in Britain since WW2. There is already an American radar in Britain. But because Britain has 200 nukes, it never was a Soviet turf. And because it has those 200 nukes, the Russians will NEVER threaten Britain with nukes.

To be fair, I don't think this is the sole reason why Russia is pee'd off at the USA wanting to plant nukes in Poland. If you remember, or know of, the Cuban missile crisis, then you'll realise that the USA made the exact same threats to Cuba when the USSR tried to base nukes there.

the reason russia doesnt like the ABM system in poland is the same reason that in 1962, the americans didnt like the USSR missile base in cuba, and the soviets didnt like the missile base in turkey - which caused the cuban missile crisis (regarded as the closest point the world was to nuclear war).
