I have learnt over the years not to take anything as gospel what is reported by the media,or for that matter information released/leaked by govenments.

So what? Journalists get things wrong. They make mistakes, and some are just plain lazy. I remember seeing the Nepalese police struggling with demonstrators on British TV but it was obvious they were Nepalese.

OF, if you are so concerned about journalistic and reporting integrity can we now look forward to you calling for the complete removal of all reporting restrictions that have been imposed by the Chinese in Tibet?

I have absolutely no power in such affairs.
I did not make an argument that China has more open media.
We all know China imposes Media restrictions. China does not pretend herself to be free in Media. It was not, and is not a secret.
This is an examination on the so called free Media.
This is more important because alot of us might not know.
And to remind you, there is a difference between making mistakes and making "mistakes" with an agenda.
If BBC is going in this direction I doubt we can just pretend nothing has happened. That is to tell you what they want you to know, or only show parts of the picture they want you to see.

Sharing views critical to "Free Tibet" does not mean that the source is from PRC. It is very common that there are alot youtube users and other online forum member share such sentiments and some defend PRC.

I never said it is objective. It is a third position. This source discredited both China's claim and BBC/CNN's version.It is up to you to analyse it.
