Britain ready for invasion?

Brussels would never stand for a USA invasion of sovereign EU territory. I'm sure Mandelson would order the gallant Italian army to ride to our rescue, and we'd be saved!

The UK and the USA have already been invaded, they will die from the inside sadly, unless something happens. What would make you think the USA would want to invade? The US and UK are almost mirror images of each other.

The US doesn't need to deploy Nuclear weapons anywhere, they can be launched from submarines that are already strategically deployed to be used against the enemies of not only the US but her allies. I am sure the UK could have a nuke if they just asked, since the UK and US will always be allies even if they have a fight or two now and then.

When is the last time a 1st world country has been invaded by another 1st world country?

I think the Europeans would come to our aid as our currency is the strongest in the World and it helps to keep the Euro up. If we were invaded by the Yanks (like that could ever happen) then the Pound would drop down to the level of the Dollar and then the Euro's that have been bought using Pounds would be sold off and the Euro will hit the floor.

lmfao Here in England we have most of the British Army, we could just send our Paras, Marines and SAS after the Yanks. Perhaps we could then invade the USA, pretending to work for Tescos!!

Have you never studied the history of the world wars? The highland regiments, although often made up of traitors like the Blackwatch, were always the fiercest. The Germans in WWI hated facing a highland regiment like the Allies hated facing the Prussians. Even the Aussies weren't as fierce.

Anyway I'm only being half humourous but don't for a second think you are better than us. I'm Scottish, Cornish and a little English and Irish but I certainly don't look down on my non-English ancestory and think we need you to function. The involuntary rule of Westminister over us is as bad as that of Brussells.

Didn’t one of the Lowland regiments have an unofficial motto along the lines of “Gun’s and bayonets we don’t need, just a razor, wheest, you’re deed!”

I've never heard that but it was probably the Blackwatch. I'm only a token Jacobite but they were early traitors towards our cause.
