It looks like the Ron Paul Revolution march on Washington will
happen this June 2008. The actual date isn't nailed down but it
might be on Saturday, June 21st. My family [from several
states] are going. I hope you will begin organizing a group of
friends or family to attend. This is gonna be big -- really big!

My name is Deborah Robinet, I am on the board of directors for
Revolution Management Foundation. We are the organizers for the
March on Washington event this summer. Here is our website:
The REVOLUTION MARCH! - REVOLUTION March on D.C. - RESTORE THE CONSTITUTION for Feedom, Peace, and Prosperity

I was informed that you are supportive of the event and intend to
go. Thank you so much for that. I wanted to let you know that
while we worked diligently to get a permit for June 21st. It was
just not possible.

As you may remember, Ron Paul's 'Go the Distance' speech where he
spoke for the first time to the grassroots about organizing marches
around the country, was released on February 11th.

The National Parks Service received our permit application on
February 18th. Even so, it was too late to secure June 21st.
People have up to one year to secure a date and the summer months
in D.C. are prime time for events. Trying to get a summer date a
few months before an event is nearly impossible. NPS informed us
that over 900 applications were submitted for summer dates.

We have been able to secure two dates: July 12th, and August 2nd.
We have put up a poll on our site to see which one the supporters
would prefer. July 12th is winning out and Dr. Paul is being
apprised of this. Hopefully he will be able to attend one or the
other of the dates. As soon as we know his schedule, we will
announce an official date.

I thought I should let you know the details. Please feel free to
contact me and thank you once again for supporting this effort.

Glad to see y'all are Ron Paul supporters. I've reserved his book, Revolutiom, A Manifesto at amazon.com Worldwide Revolution

I'm a delegate at our state convention. We're all worried. The state
GOP hasn't sent us a letter to notify us the location where it will be held.
They haven't returned our phone calls when we called to get the
location. We sent a certified letter/return receipt to have a paper trail
just in case they try underhanded tricks.

We've all been educating ourselves on Robert's Rules and had several
rehearsals so we won't go in looking stupid.

Ron Paul was probably the best candidate for the election this time, although Nader is good as well. Moderate American style libertarians are no my favourite kind of libertarians and decentralists though I'm afraid. Buchanan was better.

Ron Paul while well meaning, stops, like all the politicos, at saying what
the Real truth is.
