Default Novelty

It is somewhat rare to see mike described as being on the liberal-left wing. Not often called simplistic either.

Sorry to be a pedant, but George W Bush went to Yale, not Harvard.

I suspect that he is probably a pretty intelligent guy - certainly brighter than many people think - but some of the decisions that he made have been, in my humble opinion, very foolish.

And so often, that is the way of it. There are plenty of people who have a higher IQ than me and a greater store of knowledge, who make very foolish decisions. Always have been, and always will be.

Incidentally, the jokes people make about Bush's intelligence remind me of the way people joked about how dumb Ronald Reagan was back in the 1980s. Pretty much everyone I was at university with was convinced that Reagan was as thick as two short planks, and as ignorant as they come. I thought so too. I'm not so sure now.

Some people mock Mr. Bush. But among those not doing so are: Gore and Kerry - who lost to Bush in two American Presidential Elections of 2000 and 2004. Both were tipped by the globalist 'elite' to beat George W. Bush and both crashed to defeat.

President Bush is no fool.
Well one thing is for sure, notably in 2004 tht the Bush campain in terms of targeting and getting out the vote was a superb piece of political skill. That was one thing he had in common with Blair, they knew how to win elections.

Equally he was always clear that his policy was the removal of Saddam and expressed it honestly, I disagreed with his actions then and I do now, but it was Blair who told the lies on iraq so as to get an excuse to join him in what has proved to be a tragic and uneccesary war.

My heart goes out though to the many Americans who have seen the domestic agenda ignored in pursuit of a horrendous foreign policy which ahs done the USA a great deal of damage, they deserve better than they recieved from the President and i hope change is coming for them.

Ronald Reagan was a great leader whose policies - along with those of Lady Thatcher - helped bring down the Berlin wall leading to the fall of ruthless communist dictatorships throughout eastern europe and in what was then called the 'Soviet Union'.

Politically, for America, he was an 'all-time-great'.

We (the UK) should not have sent troops into Iraq.

My view is that if a Democrat party President had been in power instead of the Republican Party's Mr. George W. Bush, a Democrat Party President would also have sent American troops to topple the ruthless Saddam Hussein regime.

The man has proved to be incapable of telling the truth on almost any political matter. His reputation as a political fibber is sealed and there is nothing he will ever be able to do to change that.
