To attack Iran in March or April, if troops are to be used, would require pre-deployment activity now. Has anybody picked up on unusual troop deployments?

I've known for some months that every available Tomahawk in the US inventory is being loaded onto (or has already been loaded onto) launch platforms (ships) in the gulf. They're gearing up for a major non-nuke firestorm down there - enough to flatten every Iranian city.

Just read these articles this morning:

The above gives me the impression that the whole triangle of Arab - Russian and US/Israeli actions is going to leave us in a very tense situation again as this year advances.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Hezebollah action's became server enough, they could spark another war in the region.
Iran has links to Hezebollah and elements within the Iraqi state, as well as a close ties with Russia.

...and it's our own fault for not making Putin more welcome and understanding the Russian position. Russia could be our greatest ally. We are being suckered into an American anti-Russian position. We should remember the Great Game and understand how our imperial history and that of Russia were intertwined. We could separate Putin from Iran tomorrow,but choose not to. We seek to make the US happy with our support of their deployment of a missile shield in former Soviet countries and, in the case of Ukraine, in a country where half the population still look to Moscow for leadership.

It doesn't help when several religions suggest that there will be an apocalyptic end to the world and that some of the more fundamentally extreme members of these religions are in positions of power .
