Default "Billary Clinton unites all Republicans against her party as no one else could do"

Armstrong Williams, the leading African-American Republican radio 'phone-in presenter, said Andrew Boulton's Sky Television News programme (which was broadcast from the USA) at 11.47 am today "Clinton - she alone can unite all Republicans - moderates, Conservatives, Roman Catholics and Evangelicals - against her (Democrat) party as no one else could do."

Asked by Adam Boulton why Republicans do not like her Armstrong Williams said "She is married to Bill Clinton". He added "She failed on healthcare". He said that Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee (two other Republican Party politicians hoping to get their party's nomination to be President) "can't do it" (i.e. cannot beat the Democrats in the coming USA Presidential Election). He warned "She (Billary Clinton) is tough and vicious."

Mr. Williams said that John McCain "People like McCain and he is the only one why has the chutzpah to take her on - he is not a crazed right-winger."

Adam Boulton pointed out "He is an old guy."

Armstrong Williams replied "So was Ronald Reagan - we respect the wisdom of old age in America."

Adam Boulton said "You worry that he may not be able to beat Obama."

Mr. Williams replied "It's a tough one (for the Republicans) - if he (Mr. McCain) stands next to Obama in a televised debate Obama will make him look older than she (Billary Clinton) would." Barack Obama is 46 years old - Billary Clinton is over 60 years old. Mr. McCain, if he becomes the next American President, would be older than Ronald Reagan was he first got to The White House.

Mr. Williams forecasts that Billary Clinton will have to make Obama her deputy (if he becomes Democrat Party candidate for the Presidency) because "she and her husband have upset black people with their (alleged) racism and will need black votes to win the Presidency." He added "I cannot imagine (Billary) Clinton as President but I have never seen Democrat Party supporters so enthused - it will be tough to stop her but John McCain can do it."

John McCain will not make Rudolph Giuliani his deputy, Mr. Williams predicted, because Mr. Giuliani (allegedly) wants to be USA Attorney-General if Mr. McCain becomes President.
