Default Ron Paul discussed on Channel 4 News tonight

I only caught the last few words so thought I'd check it out.

It will probably be here soon but not tonight:

Ron Paul in the UK (hope for Republicans)

Let me start by saying that I am sorry that I don't have a video or screen shots for you. I just turned on the Channel 4 news in the UK and they were talking about the US election. Channel 4 is the 3rd largest TV channel in the country and its news is seen as being balanced. This isn't a Foxx news style channel. There news is produ

The host was talking to two American 'experts' one from the Democrats and one from the Republicans. One of the major topics was religion (the British can't get their heads around the American obsession with religion). Questions were being asked about religion and how it will effect the outcome of the election. The republican guy, explained that there were really 2 sorts of candidate in terms of religion. The first sort he explained was a Huckabee style candidate. This sort of candidate is popular with evangelicals and uses religion as the basis of his campaign. The second sort of candidate is a constitutionalist. For a candidate like Ron Paul religion is important but he believes that religion and state should be kept separate. He then went on to explain more about Ron Pauls stances.

The interview went on further.

They then came to the fact that the Republican party being very split and not being able to compete with the big hitters of Hillary / Obama when the election comes around. the host turned to the Republican guy and asked "with a spit party and without the strong grass roots support the Democrats have, how can the republicans compete?" the Republican guy then started to push the fact that Ron Paul was a great hope for the republican party. He has the strongest grass roots support, he raised more money than anyone ever in a single day all from the grass roots. He mentioned his anti war stance and desire to cut spending.

The republican seemed to be pointing out over and over again that while others have better ratings in the polls, only Ron Paul has the substance to take down whoever the Democrats choose.

This was all on the 19:00 Channel 4 news. it was the last secment just before it finished.

bw3ttt is just starting out
Default You need to be watching Huck

I'm surprised Paul had a rally in a hippie town like Austin.

I like Ron Paul, but Huck is the guy to watch.. He'll easily take the red states and he's got a great shot at the swing states because he wants to get rid of the IRS and replace them with FairTax.

FairTax - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Fairtax is attractive to everyone. The rich get much richer, the poor become middle class and the middle class stay middle class..
