When someone talks of strategic neutrality, I always imagine an America pre-Civil War or a current day Switzerland (although they sadly recently joined the UN).

There is also the fact we've only really seen one point of view, we've only been educated that their is one point of view. I think the biggest problem with Margret Thatcher is she would not explain properly to the people why she did a lot of the things she did. The other thing that makes me warm to him is his views on civil liberties. Civil liberties are hard fought for and easily removed. Any thing else various governments can bulls up and latter correct. We might lose a bit of money even our home but we can recover from these things. Civil liberties are earned with the lose of life. Nice to have some one come up with a few genuine concerns rather than people just accuse him of being a NAZI just for not toeing the party line we see this to much in politics. It's called political correctness. Their are moves towards world government of this their is no doubt. The people orcastrating this move i have no doubt on the whole feel they are doing it for the good of the world but they don't live in the real world that their social ideals are pulling apart. We have seen further and further democracy eroding in favor of political elite's deciding what we can and can't do apparently for our own good. Ron paul would put power back in the hands of the american people, the knock on effect would be global. |
