I've been very cheered to read the latest reports on Iraq which is surprisingly upbeat from Iraqi people that is not the Liar Party.
Positive comments and positive feelings about the future and not all anti-western as the doomsayers and pundits who make a career of bemoaning everything western as wrong and stupid , would have us believe. Far from the claim that our actions have created a new generation of Islamic extremists there are clear signs that the wish for change towards democratic government and the human rights issues which need improving is definitely emerging and this is going to in large measure improve the lot of the ordinary citizen in Iraq. Good for them i say. |

The main bulk of people just want a quite life. Sadly I don't think there will be any real peace there for millenia.
