Who'd have thought it? Another 10 years SA will be like Zimbabwe, except it will probably be called Mandelaland or Mbekistan.

Everything is being renamed, it's true. Johannesburg International Airport changed from Jan Smuts and then after saying they wouldn't give things political names they have just named it O.R. Tambo Airport. We call it Ort. Street names have gone to communist leaders, towns and city have been renamed. The capital city is clinging vainly on but is about to be renamed Tshwane. Universities have been renamed. It's like living in a foreign country and the danger of all this renaming is that places that were famous or well known become anonymous internationally, so they tend to disappear off the radar of public recognition. It really is as bad as it sounds. In fact, it's worse.
