Default Why are these people in our country?

UK arrests over Rwanda genocide

The genocide was one of the worst atrocities of the last century
Four men accused of taking part in the Rwanda genocide in 1994 have been arrested in the UK.
Scotland Yard said the arrests followed a request from the Rwandan government for their extradition.

Vincent Bajinya was arrested in north London, Charles Munyaneza in Bedford, Celestin Ugirashebuja in Essex and Emmanuel Nteziryayo in Manchester.

All four - accused of killing members of the Tutsi ethnic group - will appear before magistrates in London on Friday.

Mr Bajinya is also known as Dr Vincent Brown.

A provisional extradition warrant accuses them of killing members of the Tutsi ethnic group "with the intent to destroy in whole or in part, that group".

Scotland Yard said the extradition warrants had been issued by City of Westminster magistrates under Section 73 of the Extradition Act 2003.

The warrants also allege that between 1 January 1994 and 12 December 1994, the men conspired to kill Tutsis, and aided and abetted the killings.

Tharcisse Karugarama, Rwanda's justice minister, said in November that they had formally requested the British government to hand over four men suspected of planning the massacre.
Rwanda was a former Belgian colony. The UK was not the colonial power.

How did Rwandans arrive here to live?

Were these men allowed in as 'asylum seekers'?

Is the UK really the nearest safe country to east Africa?

Did nobody check these people on arrival?

It is clear that somebody knew something since all 4 men appear to have been rounded up with no trouble. Their addresses were clearly known to somebody in authority, or are these 4 just the unlucky ones and are there many more Rwandans in hiding in this country?

Those who are too young might not know that 13 years ago several hundred thousand Tutsis were massacred by their neighbours - literally!Hutus went to their next door neighbours, raped the women and girls and then beat or hacked them and the menfolk to death. The national radio station broadcast messages encouraging people to exterminate their neighbours and former friends. The plan backfired when the government was toppled and the people who had organised the massacres had to flee to neighbouring countries - thousands remain in the Congo.

What I want to know is how did such people arrive in the UK? Who is paying for them?

We have zero borders and the taxpayer foots the bill.

Anymore questions?

We may be getting a border with Scotland,I'm told by a good pal who lives up there that the Scottish Borders(Counties)are in the process of beefing things up in an openly yet covert fashion.

He has said more info in the new year should be forthcoming.

I first heard about this move several months ago when I was in the area.

Is it possible that Scottish Borders Councils who are pro SNP/IND have the freedom to make such moves before the facts are established on the Scotland/UK plan?

The plan would be very confrontational to my thinking.
