There appears to be some things missing from that video...

...for example, whining about all the dead people in Chicago who turned up to vote Democrat.

And the rest of this little section...

Quote:
We will watch for lines.
We will watch for machine breakdowns.
We will watch for voting machine shortages.
We will watch for voters turned away.
We will watch for intimidation.
We will watch the counting.
We will watch the results.
We will watch for the truth.
...is missing its ending:

Quote:
And even if everything is totally above board we will still scream blue murder if the Republicans win.

These people make me ill. If the result doesn't go their way, there's something wrong with the democratic system. If the Republicans win, there *must* be cheating. Conversely, when the Dems get in they don't seem that bothered about monitoring their systems - as shown by the fact that only the 2000 and 2004 elections are mentioned. Their idea of a good democracy is Democrats back in every election - no choice.

Does that remind you of anyone closer to home who likes elections to go their way? You know, anyone with a blue flag?

And all said and done, it's these idiots' counterparts over here who voted Blair back in. Twice. You know, just to keep the evil Tories out (yes, yes, I know they're evil. But not for the same reasons that the common or garden anti-Tory crowd think).

I like the third comment down:

Quote:
Most state legistures are controlled by Democrats which means they run the local elections. For example, the confusing ballots in West Palm Beach in 2000 were designed by Democrats. But somehow, the right gets blamed for it.

You can't tell me you think the Florida election was not rigged John.

Not that is uber bias.

I know you love Bush, I think because he SAYS he is a Christian, but there was so much evidence of dubious behaviour at that election it was clear.

I've no idea. I know that the Ohio one wasn't (know lots of folks in Ohio), but the Dems screamed blue murder about that. So if they scream "election fraud" at one marginal where there wasn't any, why should I believe them at another?

You'll note that in each instance, they're whining about the deciding marginal. Strange coincidence, that.

Dude, I do not love Bush. I simply don't irrationally hate him.

Love/hate talk like that makes me think you're ready to rejoin the Lib Dims. Really.

Now, if you could arrange for his daughter (the brunette one) to pop around I'm sure I could arrange for some type of Bush-lovin' to take place. In the best possible taste and just to satisfy your statements, of course.

Yeah, that's why you love him. You want his daughter.

I agree the Demoprats in a lot of cases are doing it out of bitterness, but the bottom line is Jeb fixed it good for his Bro in 2000.

I think of it like the mafia. Two crime families fighting it out for control, but the Republicons managed to cheat and get away with it best this time.

They still take their orders from the same people, but they get to swagger around and get the big money afterwards.

Hopefuly some public filming will capture some of the cheating going on.

I might do it at Maybury, in Woking, where it is ACCEPTED cheating goes on every time there is an election. You can probably guess the community that makes up a lot of Maybury.

Postal voting is the biggest chunk of cheating that goes on, but I had people tell me they saw the same people go in on numerous occasions and also people removing ballots from the boxes. I want to be there to catch it next time.

I support that. 'Coz I know you're going to be doing it for the sake of fairness, not to whine about Labour not getting in.

Maybury is a weird part of Woking. I lived there when I first moved to Woking, but I had no drive and lived on a one way street, which drove me mad in the end.

Some of Maybury is VERY well off. Some of it is fairly grotty, but not terrible.

Maybury was always the one place Labour could bank on winning in Woking, with nowhere else really wanting them. The last election though so the anti-war element come to play. People wanted to punish Labour so didn't turn out.

The Muslim community voted on block. Their cheif Imam or whatever you call them got them to vote Tory, because that was the party best placed to beat them. Falings Malins the Tory MP voted against the war (I believe because he knows liberal Woking would be quite against the war), so they didn't mind voting for him.

I was at the count and it was quite weird seeing a huge block of Muslims going mad for a Tory win.

Malins also vists the Mosque quite a lot. He knows they vote on block, so it's worth while.

When I was doing the Question Time in Woking, one of the Muslim leaders came up to me and said he though I was the most honest and that he agreed with a lot of what I said. That must have counted against me I guess.

They could put a red rosette on a dog poop around here and it'd get in (and it'd probably prove just as useful to the population as the existing MP).

In fact, if the Labour MP went to every house in the constituency and personally killed everyone's children / raped their puppies / stole their TV, he'd probably still get in. Needless to say, there's a spot on my favourite wall with a forehead-shaped indentation.

Dunno about you but that kind of thing makes me a little uneasy.

A little bit, but lots of people form blocks at the end of the day. Heck that's what a party is really!
