Israel has nuclear weapons already, and has signed no treaties governing their use. Who's to say that it might not use them against Iran, a nation which is willing to stand up and condemn Israeli-US racism and aggression against Muslims and Arab countries?

You can see why Middle East countries are concerned about Israel. Only this summer it blasted south Lebanon to rubble for no credible reason.

The only solution is to force Israel to relinquish its nuclear arsenal, to leave the Golan Heights, the West Bank and Lebanon, and to never again invade or otherwise harass these neighbouring states.

Wish you were right, but America is led by a bunch of neo-imperialist nutters whose global ambitions are spiced with a large dose of Christian fundamentalism; a dangerous combination. Everyone knows that in the UK our strings are pulled by America, via Bush etc and Murdoch. It's time we cut those ties and began to support OUR interests, not those of the USA or Israel.

Here's a suggestion for a policy; work to ensure harmonious relations with the Iranian Government, ignoring American sabre-rattling, and condemn Israeli militarism and international aggression. As far as Iraq goes there is no simple solution, since Bush etc destroyed order in that country and murdered 250, 000 Iraqis. The only way ahead I can see is to bring in the United Nations and install a peace-keeping force comprised of personnel from nations which had nothing to do with the 2003 invasion and subsequent occupation. That's the only body which will have any credibility.

Most people, whatever their background, are intelligent when compared to Bush.

You can see where the North Koreans are coming from regarding nukes, likewise the Iranians. Both countries have witnessed US bully-boy tactics against weaker countries, and don't want to become the latest victim of US aggression. Iran in particular has watched a nearby country, lebanon, being bombed into oblivion just this summer.

The neo-cons are presently leading the West towards catastrophe, with their use of military aggression and unconditional support for Israeli racism and troublemaking. Thankfully the Yanks are beginning to see through the neo-cons' propaganda.

When Bush goes, let us hope that neoconservatism will die.

I never said or thought they were 'thick'! I suggested Iranian Islamic extremists are crazy as all extremists are! Lets face it if they're prepared to blow themselves up just to take out a dozen or so people, they'd be "Over the Moon" if they got hold of a nuclear weapon capable of taking out hundreds of thousands of "Infidels" :shock:
