The Bible clearly supports it if you're into Judaism, not Christianity. Which a lot of yanks tend to have difficulty distinguishing between.

The Boss Himself stopped an execution. How much clearer could it be? (and no, I don't tend to take any notice of people twisting the words of the Bible to suit their own pre-decided viewpoint, as the author of the page you link to seems to have done).

Bet ya a wagon wheel that the guy who wrote that page is (1) against gambling and (2) against polygamy (The Bible doesn't condemn either).
