Israel hit by Hezbollah barrage

I don't want to make light of a terrible situation, but exactly what are these rockets? 1 person killed from 220 rockets doesn't seem to be much of a return.

Or is it just the case they are so inacurate, they are all landing in desert or something.

And no I don't want them to be more succesful and yes I am glad they are so rubbish.

These [ the BM21s ] are modern manufactured rockets developed from a concept employed by the Red Army during World War 2. They [ the BM21s ] will not kill you in a properly designed bomb shelter but would kill you if you are out in the open or they hit your house or your appartment and you happen to be in it at the time. They are unguided so you just point them in the direction of the target you want to hit and presumably the elevation of the rocket also comes in to the targeting equation.

NB Given the larger warhead of the Fajr 3, really I would not want to be at the recieving end of this, even in a purpose built shelter.

They [ the BM21's ] are not "rubbish", in the sense in a conventional military conflict, one might fire off hundreds or even thousands of these rockets at an enemy position in a relatively short time.

Does that mean she will be afforded the same protection that you suggested the Israelis may be getting, from God?
