Fantastic!

I wonder whether the same could be done here?

I would imagine that is impossible to file a lawsuit against tony blair in this way since in the UK parliament is sovereign. I am by no means an expert on UK law, but maybe this would prevent this kind of lawsuit. In the USA, law is supreme.

Does anybody have any expert knowledge in this area?

I believe that this is the same reason one cannot file a lawsuit against the government for taking us into the EU. As i understand it, because parliament is sovereign, it can do what the hell it likes.

Quite interesting really. It certainly opens up a debate as to whether the UK should have a real constitution, by which parliemant is bound.
