Should foreign reconstruction aid be given to countries wealthy enough to afford to buy nukes? Why should my tax dollar be spent reconstructing things when the government in question is spending their own money on WMDs?

(same goes for anywhere with enough money to develop and buy nukes)

For him to say foreign aid is totally inadequate is out of order anyway. No other country has to give them a bean. Any money given by the world is out of charity and saying it is inadequate isn't helping.

Ask for more, beg if you feel it is needed, but don't rubbish the efforts so far.
