I agree with you, but unfortunately you're going to have to export a lot of "Human rights" lawyers before it will be allowed to happen here.

Absolutely not. Along with banning the repressive burka, which is in existence because apparently women should be ashamed of their bodies (don't look thjen, you old perv) and because it keeps them out of jobs and out of society, we should also be banning other forms of clothing.

1) Grey slip-on shoes

2) leggings for anyone with cellulite

3) Baggy cardigans in man-made fibres

4) Volumous leopard print tops

5) Bodystockings

Dutch Rita sounds excellent - my kind of woman!

One advantage of that burkha thing - men are forced to look INTO phpbb_- or at least at - a woman's eyes.

For many women that would be a pleasant change.

And in a way it makes sense - if you don't like what you see in a person's eyes - why would you want to look any further?

Feminist rubbish. If a woman doesn't want a man to look at her cleavage she doesn't have to have her breasts spilling out. I suppose the wonder bra was invented to keep men's eyes away, was it? If a woman doesn't want her legs to be admired then why put on a short skirt? Or how else does one admire something without looking at it.
The most hypocritical statement in the world is 'I dress for myself'. Most women would be horrified at the thought that no man would ever look at her admiringly again, never consider her sexy or desirable, and treat her just as another person - another man.
Women have a choice in how they want to be looked at.

I agree with SGK. I always dress to impress and it isn't the sisters I have in mind!

Unless someone is activley following you around stalking you people should be able to look at what they want.

For some reason I doubt that burka wearers would be going to pubs very often, although I did see a girl with a head scarf in my old student union bar once.
