Russia launches patriotism drive

I believe patriotism should occure naturaly, not be cultivated by the state. I have always been a bit ware of the USA for this. Teaching kids history in schools etc is good, but I'm not sure about the military style games.

As for the patriotic sex education, I would love to know what that's all about? Encouragement to stick to Russians?

Well ''correct reproductive behaviour'' will have a very demoralising effect on many of the Russians. I can imagine it'll demoralise self pleasure, gay sex and many other activities that some people do in private without it affecting others.

Thought Russia became a democracy, I was wrong. It's still very Communist controlled and has tried to legislate in every area of the Russians lives.

Where have I heard this before!!!
