Support for EU down among its members

Italy suprises me. Good to see Britain leading the way still! Hi five to all UKIP'ers for that at least.

I'm very suspicious of these surveys though. How do they ask people? I've never been asked, that's for sure.

I notice that Eurostat polls are always strangely more favourable to the EU than comparable national polls.

It's true. They probably ask if you are a Liberal Democrat, Guardian reading, non-fisherman and make sure you have Le before your second name, before asking you if you are for the EU or not.
