Default Did you hear the one about EU nut bans?

http://www.iht.com/articles/2005/01/04/news/myths.html

Quote:
British press perpetuates the Euromyth

LONDON The Daily Mail, one of the many British tabloids that love to hate the European Union, published a thunderous report shortly before Christmas that Britons faced a shortage of Brazil nuts, a favorite seasonal food. The cause, naturally, was that the European Commission in Brussels was banning them.
.
I just love the way Europhiles try to make out that the trivial side of what the EU is doing to us, is the only argument against the EU. I personaly could not care less about curved fruit or disposal of vibrators. I only ever look at the sport pages in the Sun, IF a copy is lying around somewhere.

The whole establishment thinks the British people are mugs! I hope we prove them wrong at the election!

UKIP Man - you are not banned. The directive refered to nuts, not nutcases.

If it banned nutcases it would cease to exist.

Only in a 3-layer. A four layer on a bigger ship would have 30.

Good point. I've never seen a four layer, but told about them, on the basis of the bottom plate having 16 indents.
