The Pope, it is understood, is not amused. Not concerned, just not amused.

"They may not be Catholic" the Pope is alleged to have said "But at least they are not C. of E."

The Pope's health is a continuing cause for concern amongst concerned people. Mrs Pope was not available for comment.
