Default EU sales to rest of the world going down!

http://www.agi.it/english/news.pl?do...eng.bnessitaly

Quote:
AGI) - Rome, Nov. 23 - In October 2004, compared to the same month in 2003, exports to countries outside the EU decreased 7.5 percent, while imports increased 11.4 percent, with a foreign trade surplus of 537 million euro, compared to a surplus of 2.396 billion euro registered last October. Compared to September 2004, continued ISTAT's analysis, after seasonal adjustments, exports decreased 5.4 percent and imports increased 1.6 percent.
So this wonderful super economy that the EU is supposed to bring, is becoming less appealing to the world! Instead of countries in the EU making the most of their super internal markets, they are eating out instead.

Stop this train I want to get off!
