It's hard to tell what's going to happen in this presidential race it's been so up and down their is all to play for.

It is far from over in terms of the nomination for the Republican Party, but Ron Paul's problem is he has to convince them first.

    Gingrich ! .... yea gods. :-(

But he doesn't have the cash or the organisation, unless even more people take leave of their senses.

As I understand it Gingrich is not even on the ballot in states like Virginia and a few others he can not possibly win. This is a bit conspiratorial on my part but here goes, why would any one fund his campaign if he has no chance of winning? the only reason I can think is to try and keep Ron Paul suppressed. If Gingrich dropped out of the race paul would have the funds to discredit first Santorum and then the race between Romney and Paul would be a walk in the park. So my conclusion is Gingrich is only in to make life difficult for Paul.

SC is a big government state & Christian Evangelist, Gingrich was the favourite. Romney is not popular as he is a Mormon. The pundits suggested the margin of victory would be significant not the result.

The longer it goes on the better chance Ron Paul has of getting the message across IMO.

Just read this which suggests in 2 SC voting districts that fair play may have been an issue:

I tend to be wary of the voter fraud accusations, I've got no doubt it goes on to a degree but as long as the votes don't completely clash with exit polls and general polls then I think it's reasonable to assume that fail play was not at hand. On saying this good to know people are watching and it's good that they know people are watching.

It's frightening that religion is so important in a supposedly modern superpower such as the USA in 2012...
