    On the top of Jamaica coat of arms is a crocodile with open mouth, a most effective element in any constitution.

    Indeed, I guess that in a country like Jamaica talking about ditching the Queen is something people like to hear and will make you popular but the everyday problems of ordinary Jamaicans have little or nothing to do with the Queen.

    Bob Marley was running for politics shortly before he died. He believed the CIA poisened a gift and infected hijm with a virus. Then to stop a new Cuba they armed the thugs commonly known as the Yardie to ensure no Cuba MK II.

    On the other hand, why should any sovereign country have a foreign head of state?

    Black, so called, 'success' with White money is doomed to failure.

    A head of state should be elected by the people. The system of a monarchy goes against this democratic system and I therefore hope that Jamaica does break free from this outdated system.

    Break Free for "Freedom"?

    ". . . the Queen said: "My government's legislative programme will be based upon the principles of freedom, fairness and responsibility."

    THE CROWN IS IN DANGER

    In these perilous times only the BritDems can be trusted to look after the interests of White people.

    Fair = White
    "Fair" means "white"
    "Fair" does not mean just. It does not mean justice. It does not mean correct or correctness. It is always incorrect to use the word "fair", the word "just", the word "justice", or the word "correct", as if they all mean the same.

    To do so may lead many people to believe that "fair" means "justice", and that "fair", "justice", and "white", mean the same thing.

    Thus, some people may be lead to believe that "white" people are "fair" people, and that "fair" people are people who practice justice.

    It is best, therefore, to use the word "fair" to mean "white" - and only to mean "white". The word "fair" should never be used to mean justice or correctness.

    If that of course is what the people want, many prefer a monarchy, and if jamaica wish this to happen then fair enough. In Great Britain republicanism has been and seems set to remain a minority for many years, many in Scotland who seek to leave the Union wish the Queen to remain their head of state, In all four parts of the UK the British Public vote in candidates that are pro monarchy in considerable numbers.

    I would welcome a referendum on the monarchys future here and think it would be a resounding lets keep the Queen.

    People are very fickle in their attitudes towards the monarchy. It has been said that once Charles becomes King the popularity of the monarchy will plummet. Similarly, in the aftermaths of Diana's death the Queen was perceived as being callous, rightly or wrongly, and many people thought that did a lot of harm to the monarchy.
