I do.

What is this reality? That they might have different religious beliefs from me? Or perhaps eat different food? Heck, the majority of Brits do that anyway.

I have a number of 'ethnic' friends, but they are all very much part of the 'middle class' scene.

Actually nearly all the 'ethnics' I know well - male and female - are or were married to Whites. When I was working in London I was acquainted with a broader spectrum, but that ceased when I returned to Portsmouth.

My contacts are more cosmopolitan than most. A recent survey showed that most Whites in the UK have no 'ethnic' friends at all.

Hardly surprising really.

Why does reading that make me think of the phrase "some of my best friends are Jews"?

Some of my best friends are Jews.

I move in certain social circles which have always had a high level of Jewish involvement.
