As London has a huge immigrant population, I can hardly see them voting for someone who wishes to put a freeze on immigration! If you were already residing here, you'd hardly vote for someone who'd prevent your parents joining you!

Not necessarily. Polls such as those done on C4's recent documentary Immigration: The Inconvenient Truth suggest that most immigrants themselves would like to see levels of migration reduced. And rightly so! After all, immigration (for me, at least) has never been a race issue, but one of numbers and common sense. High levels of immigration will undoubtedly affect settled migrants.

Why not they dont want more competition for jobs.

It's a ******** headline. He will call on ministers to freeze immigration to Britain for 5 years, as per UKIP policy.

The ministers will tell him to do one.
