Default "60% say UK has too many immigrants, 3 in 4 claim there are tensions" - new BBC poll

“Britons fear race violence” - the title of a BBC website report (linked to below) on a BBC opinion poll in which 60% of 1000 people questioned by MORI said that “the UK had too many immigrants and half wanted foreigners encouraged to leave.”

The BBC report about the new MORI opinion poll claimed that “three out of four people thought there was now a great deal or a fair amount of tension between races and nationalities.” It also claimed that nearly two in three feared tension “was certain or likely” to “lead to violence”:

Yes, pretty much everyone in the country thinks the same, the House Of Lords and opposition parties are telling the government Immigration should be limited, but will the "listening" PM listen? NO!

The problem is that there's not an awful lot the government can do about it. Limiting immigration from other EU countries is not possible.

Default Labour, immigration, EU, trade union, Poland, affiliated

You are right, of course, Eurosceptic Atlanticist.

While this Labour shower in power cannot stop immigration from the EU (as long as we remain in the EU) they do not have to encourage it. And encouraging EU immigration is something they have been doing for years.

I read a while back that a UK trade union attended a jobs fair in Poland to encourage people to come and work here - and most trade unions, are, of course, a part of the Labour 'movement' (i.e. affiliated to the Labour Party).

The problem surely is and always has been the mass immigration of Third World immigrants of racially diverse origin and culture to a small island where the indigenous peoples were never consulted on whether they wished their country to be invaded?

The migrant workers from other parts of the EU generally return to their countries of origin and whilst here do not sponge off the host population.
