Default Failure of immigration policy - official.

Immigration doesn't benefit Britain - Telegraph

How do they intend to justify it now?

What can they do about it? They've signed up to one huge Labour market called the EU. It's about as easy going to work in another country as switching from one city in England to other.

I suppose leaving the EU would help....

The New Labour love of immigration was all about expanding the economy on money borrowed not to pay the workshy which would have been blown out of the water by the Tories but borrowed on the basis of “borrowing for investment”.

This was a key factor in overheating the economy and thus creating and maintaining the “feel good” factor that has seen multiple labour governments and an electorate of which around 30% of so come the next general Election will have no knowledge of a Conservative government.

All they will have to go on will be the bad time stories, and so will be very reluctant to elect such a government preferring instead to stick with the Devil they know.

I hope that the “time for a change” factor comes into play once more.

This has little to do with the EU and everything to do with New Labour lies, distortion, and propaganda and of course the presence of so many career politicians of which Brown and Blair are classic examples.

Where is Blair now?

Simple, he’s continuing his career development just as any other manager does having taken his previous role as far as he could, lost interest as it has no more to offer him, and left it for the next guy.

These awful people don’t realise or more likely don’t care that the thing that they are managing isn’t a fish finger production line, it’s a NATION.

We need statesmen, not these career politicians who in earlier days would just about have managed to get a place on course run by a polytechnic or more likely an art school.
