This is it, they are playing on peoples insecurities of not wanting to associate with the 'lowlife' 'chavvy' 'bigoted' working classes and every presenter, be it on TV or radio is going with it. The figures in the survey speak for themselves with the middle classes tailing behind by an average 10%. I can't believe people aren't protesting about this blatant abuse being dished out, the scam is obviously working, message being, if you speak out against multiculturalism you are a lowlife member of the lower orders.

And you're right, peed off middle classes are pretty dangerous, or could be if they got their act together and stopped being so smug because the BBC appears to be on their side.

You're right Hunter - it's par for the course for them to put out self-certifying research in the shape of opinion polls like this.

Whilst they support the culture of immigration and islamaphobia, they are happy to paint themselves whiter than white when it suits them.

I'd say it's also a target of theirs to appease the middle class and make them think their interests are being represented - which of course they're not.
Only the cream of the cream get treated with special favour, just look at the foxhunting ban(whether you agree with it or not they're attacking rural middle class England too)

The middle class are the target too, and the government and MSM want to eradicate the middle class for good.
Looking back, maybe this is what John Major meant by a "classless society", but apparently not one of opportunity(except if you're an immigrant maybe) !

Somebody describe and define what a "community Leader" is, how they get to be one, and why the hell they are needed in the FIRST place.

And while they're at it just what IS a "Community"? There certainly weren't any when I was growing up, just THE community and that was England.

I must admit guilt in feeling that I was not associated with that tatty working man's club flying an even tattier English National Flag, I have instantly repented, ie:
I am White,
I am working class,
I am voiceless and
I am English.
Community leaders are elected or "co-opted" to carry out the orders of the national government of the day, by blind use of the rubber stamp. The day to day running of any Council is overseen by the unelected, unaccountable and burgeoning army of "Local Government Officers". These were the main reasons that I resigned as a member of my Parish Council just a few weeks ago.
