All,
Everyday we open the paper we see bad press against all sorts of immigrants coming into the UK, from alleged terrorists, sharia law, romanian gypsies the lot. Race hatred is on the up. Panorama programmes undercover in mosques allege the british institution wants to be dismantled by muslims, our religeous leaders want sharia law praticed in the UK. This comes from the state of our immigration laws, mismanagement of this issue by the government and political correctness. I could go on for hours. There is a super critical point to all of this - we are now in serious trouble - our most professional, educated and experienced people are now leaving the country in droves and those who aren't leaving are certainly thinking about it. The lesser skilled jobs are being filled by 'cheaper' labour by the new immigrants and we are looking in the face of a very serious economic turn down. The government need to open their eyes to these issues and stop taking the ostrich approach to immigration and motivate our people to stay - before its too late. What a mess. I am now seriously looking to become an immigrant - elsewhere! G |

Maybe the destruction of Britain is in the plan and the eye are wide open.

When those with the money and taxes leave, who will pay the benefits, national healthcare, education, pay for the lavish lifestyles of do-nothing MPs and ministers?
If there is one thing the expat Brits will be watching from abroad it will be the implosion of the former United Kingdom. |

We, too, have a dream. To make it real every single individual must gain motivation and direction and a common goal. Miracles can spring from the slums, diamonds can be found in the dust, ideals can be brought to life if only people believe that they can be rescued, looked after and nurtured. People do have power but only when they are functioning for a common ideal and focused on nothing else until the job is done. It will take some time, to use the belief of a famous warrior, but we shall empty the lake with a teaspoon. |

I think lots of people are considering moving abroad. I have friends who have left for Canada (a scientist and a software developer) another who works in I.T has recently gone to the US (had an American spouse so took advantage of the ability to move over there, and how has a decent job and a house which would cost about 3 times as much back here), a couple I know are planning on moving to Australia once one of them has finished their doctorate.
This government has created a brain drain. People don't want to stay and fight (with the possibility of losing) and end up with a criminal record or massive amounts of debt, or the victim of crime and ruin their chances of escaping in the future should they need too. Some as well just want a better life. English people will always mvoe abroad and I see no problem in this, but when they are essentially being forced abroad by government policy that is a BIG PROBLEM. Ea of dune |
