Yes, I agree, go into Norfolk and tell the people there that they haven't been invaded by Portuguese.
How about Peterborough and the Fens: Poles, Kurds, Albanians, Romanians by the thousands...

And when the picking season is over?????, I suppose they traipse back to their countries of origin to winter before coming back next season - bollux they do, straight back to the cities for their welfare cheques and housing and driving down the already low wages in the catering trade. Like I said you ought to get out more, raise your sights above fox hunting FFS.

I agree with G Hall - our rural area is exactly the same.

You need to speak Polish to sell anything at most boot sales around here.

Did you not see the bird flu epidemic at Holton in Suffolk recently all the portugese workers wanted compensation when they were laid off.
Many of the food processors in East Anglia use immigrant labour all year round

What kind of madness is it where the EU creates a system [in the name of USE] where professionals and the most able in Poland come to the UK take the jobs of the young and least able resulting in a high proportion of these receiving jobseekers allowance to be paid for by British taxpayers. Many of the unemployed young, with energy and time on their hands turn to crime drugs and whatever else - which usually means more cost for the taxpayer and wasted young lives. Meanwhile, back in Poland, the country is stagnating because so many of their professionals and bright young things are elsewhere earning as much as they can at the expense of both the host country and their country of origin.

Who thought this up?

There was an imported bird flu incident, not an epidemic. Don't feed the panic machine.

It was on TV and in "The F**king Sun" it must be true
