Yep. It's a good indicator of how their politics are.

Guardian: Left wing middle class folks - like the Hollywood crowd.
Observer and Independent: Owned by Guardian - same leftieness.
Times: Folks with bowler hats.
Telegraph: Old-style conservatives.
The Sun: Moronic folks with no politics but a liking for boobs. This is the best selling paper by a long way.
Daily Mail: Libertarians and curtain-twitchers.
The Star: Paris Hilton's UK fan club.
Express: I've no idea. Probably people who've got past the Sun but aren't quite ready for the Mail.

I've probably missed some. I don't care.

Anyway, wasn't this very question expertly answered in 'yes Minister?':

The Independent is read by people who don't know who runs the country but are sure they're doing it wrong. The Daily Mail is read by the wives of the people who run the country. The Financial Times is read by the people who own the country. The Daily Express is read by the people who think the country ought to be run as it used to be run. The Daily Telegraph is read by the people who still think it is their country. And the Sun's readers don't care who runs the country providing she has big tits.

I was lacking pizza.

(and haven't seen a Telegraph in years)

That's my excuse anyways. And I'm sticking to it.

The same is happening with fried chicken take away shops, nearly every one now has a Halal sign in the window, I walk past them in disgust.

i am british and of asian decent but i have and will never consider m myself asian, i feel ashamed that many people of my race still want to be stuck in a mentality that they are not british and i think that the problem is that things have been alowed t become like this. in many other countries (such as india, pakistan, russia, polland) of the world if you dont adapt to the local culture you will be outcast so why is it that in this country we are in fact embarrased to admit to being british? and before anyone says no im not muslim, i have never lived in a council house and i payed full tuition fees to go to university to become a doctor, i work in the nhs for our failling goverment and ahve never claimed any benefits in my life, unlike many of the other degenerate british people of asian origin

Dr, you're like most Asian people, they work long hours to improve their lives and those of their family's. My former boss is Indian and he wears the England football shirt with pride. He has passed the citizenship test and was over the moon about 'becoming British'. With everything that's happening many Brits, whether born here or not, are becoming more aggressive, for want of a better word, towards those who, as you say, are embarrassed about integrating and beeing seen as British rather than just Muslim.

McDonalds are going to offer Halal meals in the UK, sorry Tara!
