Default How the Irish Gov't. deal with illegals

If Southern Ireland can get it's act together why can't we?

http://news.independent.co.uk/europe/article2802624.ece

No Irish Weird-Beard,Happy-Clappy Sandalistas to protest and rush to court to prevent this.

Well done to the Irish.

A quote from the Independent piece
Quote:
And among Dublin residents, there appeared to be little sympathy for their plight. "If you are going to work, welcome," wrote Anne Byrne in a letter to the Irish Independent. "If you are here to benefit from a better welfare system than you have in your own country, then go back and work on improving your own country, don't bleed ours dry."
I was wondering about this sort of thing the other day. There was a spate of articles a few weeks ago about eastern europeans being attacked in Ireland. And of course Ireland is now officialy committed to a referendum on the EU Constitution.........Er........Amending Treaty. And seeing as the Irish originally booted out the Nice Treaty (but were bullied into voting "correctly" a second time round) I can't help wondering if they will reject this one as well. Might not immigration from Eastern Europe be a resentment builder that will tip the Irish over into a No vote ? (OK, they'll have to keep voting untill they get it right - I know!)

Perhaps UKIP should be paying to fly plane loads of Roma to Ireland.

Can't imagine Gordon the Grabber ever funding similar flights, there again the Home Office do not know how many iilegals are here or where they are.

Open border? Porous is a better description.
