Default Panorama next Monday

This is going be about immigration and 'How we lost count'. Presumably the EU will get a few seconds of mention, and then on to pure pretence. Should be interesting to see.

If not covered properly, hopefully Nigel will do what he can to raise the roof - would follow on from the Today Programme 'apology' reported today.

EU not mentioned!

General assertion was of a beneficial situation.

It was, very briefly and I have to disagree that the assertion was that it was good - far from it i think.

"It was, very briefly and I have to disagree that the assertion was that it was good - far from it i think."

I missed that bit then.

The presenter said that unlimited immigration was "a mixed blessing" and went into detail about how we are more cultured, and even calimed that it had caused school results to go up!

Angry Panorama

Have been discussing the programme here at work and the general view is that a) living in this country is now oppressive and rule driven b) quality of life is declining fast and c) civil unrest is not too far away d) there is no way to stop the slide available to the ordinary Brit in the street.

With regard to c) based on what was shown in Slough the unrest will be by first wave immigrants against 2nd & 3rd wave - no 'born and bred' need be involved.

The free access of EEA people has turned some of our cities into the outposts of eastern europe - what is the cultural benefit of that.

Based on my straw pole (sic) we have much to be concerned about
