Angry

Discussed Panorama programme in office and concensus was that

a) living in England is now becoming oppressive
b) The free access of EEA member people will continue and will turn our cities into outposts of eastern europe.
c) there is no way in which the average born and bred can change the path this gov'n is taking us.
d) civil unrest is inevitable in the future.

With regard to d) based on the programme the unrest will be between Wave 1 immigrants with Waves 2,3 & 4 etc.

I thought the programme was extremely straight about this issue for once - the EU role was made very clear. Particularly good that it was immigrants complaining about more immigrants - eg a Pole who settled here after the war.

Wink

The program highlighted how bad it was in Slough but the trouble is that its getting this way up and down the length of the UK, and particularly England, smallscale immigration I have no problem with (yes, even me!) but the rapid change in the last few years is of no long-term benefit to anyone.
Overall the BBC needs to be applauded on showing it, it makes a change from them brainwashing us day-in day-out saying how wonderful they all are, and telling us about all the wonderful benefits they bring to this country.
