Britain had naturally stabalised, until the EU/quisling tag team artificially jumped started growth again.

Default Population growth

Countries around that world that are going - deliberately - for population growth are making a mistake in my view.

Having hundreds of millions of people is not necessarily going to make a country more powerful in the world. And the more people there are in a particular nation - the smaller the houses, the more crowded the roads and the less resources and wealth there is to share around (in highly populated lands).

Ceaucescu went for population growth--and the young part of that growth was the mainstay of the revolution that toppled him.

Mao tse Tung managed to control the Chinese population growth by limiting families to one child, but I doubt if it was much fun living under such a regime.

I suppose we ought thank the Gays and Lesbians for doing their bit!

Without population growth, it would be much harder to continue growing the economy.
